MAKE JESUS KNOWN TRAINING

WHAT IS MAKE JESUS KNOWN

Attendees can either:

  • Text in their response
  • Fill out a Gospel Response card
  • And/or connect with a Gospel Coach.

THE WHY

There are 3 goals of the Pulse follow-up process:

  • Pray for people.
  • Equip people with discipleship resources.
  • Connect people with a local church or ministry.

HOW IT WORKS

Digital Response Platform

Pulse uses a ministry communication platform called Echo Global to communicate with attendees who text in during the Gospel response time. Attendees text a keyword like “Jesus” to the number 73738. These texts are then received in the Echo system, where our volunteers and leaders have live 1-1 digital Gospel conversations through a phone or laptop.

Gospel Response Cards

Event attendees will have an opportunity to respond to the Gospel message by filling out a physical card and indicating their decision for Christ or if they have questions. After Gospel response cards are collected, information is entered into an online form. Then the contact data is given to local churches/ministries to begin making phone calls and texts to the attendees. Follow-up churches will take notes from the calls and text messages in a Google Sheet.

Gospel Coaches

Gospel coaches provide an opportunity for attendees to connect 1-1 in person during the event to receive prayer, and discipleship resources and be connected to a local church. Gospel coaches are trained to talk attendees through their decisions/questions.
